Little Stars is a English speaking home away from home. We aim to provide a place where children feel loved and nurtured in a safe, stimulating and clean environment. Where they are educated in an age appropriate manner through free play and structured play. Where they are exposed to imaginative play, creative activities, sensory play, water play, music, movement, excersise and mindfulness. Where their pre reading skills are developed through exposure to books and story time. Their fine motor developed through dough, creative art activities and threading. Their perceptual skills developed through puzzles and perceptual games. Their gross motor developed through outdoor play, yoga and movement and music rings. Our programme will also foster a love for Judaism and Israel. We will learn through various age appropriate themes based around the chaggim, shapes, colours, transport, me and my body, the five senses, animals and many more. 

About us:
Tanya grew up in Manchester, England, where she gained a diploma in Early Childhood Studies. She then studied the first year of a degree in Childhood Development at Manchester University, before relocating to London. There she worked for one the largest Jewish charitable organisations (NGO), Jewish Care, and in the Children's Services department of one of the largest local authority municipalities in London then another charity, Jewish Blind & Disabled. She is a mother to 3 children (ages 11, 9 and 3). She made Aliya in 2015.

Lianne grew up in South Africa. She made Aliya in July 2018.

She has a 4 year Higher Diploma in Education specialising in Pre-primary and Junior Primary. She taught at a prominent Jewish school for 14 years teaching 3 and 4 year olds. Teaching is her passion. The school she taught at constantly sent her on courses training her in the current world teaching trends and she implemented these into her teaching in an age- appropriate manner.
